Police spokesperson says no arrests made yet in shooting at Bronx station and severity of injuries sustained not clear
One person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting at a New York subway station on Monday, police said.
A New York police department spokesperson said that no arrests had been made in the shooting, which was reported at the Bronx station about 4.38pm, and that it was not clear what condition the five injured people were in. Local media, citing unnamed police sources, reported the five sustained injuries were not life-threatening.
