Murder investigation launched after woman, 56, killed and man, 18, dies

Police link death of woman, found in car after collision on A340, to nearby death of man, 18, found on railway track

Police have launched a murder investigation into the death of a 56-year-old woman who was found in her car with a fatal stab wound in the village of Pangbourne in Berkshire.

Officers were called at about 5.45pm on Thursday to a road traffic collision involving a Lexus vehicle on the A340. The woman received medical attention but died at the scene.
