Disney raises US streaming prices and plans £3 monthly rise in UK

Disney+ UK monthly charge to rise from 1 November, coinciding with launch of cheaper ad-supported tier

Disney is raising prices on its streaming services and expanding a version that broadcasts adverts to new markets including the UK.

The monthly cost of ad-free Disney+ in the US will rise by $3 to almost $14 and the cost of ad-free Hulu will go up 20% to $18.
