Documents show prime minister made nearly £2m last year through income and capital gains

Rishi Sunak made nearly £2m last year through income and capital gains, according to tax details published on Wednesday.

Downing Street published a summary of the prime minister’s tax affairs months after promising to do so and in the middle of testimony being given by his predecessor Boris Johnson over the Partygate scandal.
