Yellow warnings for snow across part of Scotland, possibly leading to the coldest temperature of the year so far on Monday

Yellow warnings for snow across parts of Scotland have been brought forward as Arctic air moves over the country and down to northern England, possibly leading to the coldest temperature of the year so far.

The Met Office said temperatures could drop below minus 10C on Monday night on higher ground in northern Scotland, with northerly winds making it feel even colder.
