Defence minister says Poland will let Ukrainian troops train on the German-made battle tanks; Russia claims to have captured village near Bakhmut
The war in Ukraine is a state of deadlock, according to the UK Ministry of Defence.
In its daily intelligence update, it said that there is a possibility of Russian advances around the heavily contested city of Bakhmut in the Donbas region, but otherwise there is little movement.
