Myndup, a mental health platform used by employees at the likes of Savills, Dentons, and The Prince’s Trust, has secured £4.4m in an oversubscribed Series A funding round.
The London-based startup provides therapy, counselling, mindfulness, life coaching, career coaching and meditation digitally to employees.
Employees can use the service for free, anonymously and select their own therapist, coach or counsellor. Myndup said it will use the additional capital to add more practitioners to its platform.
“This will further support our mission to become the world’s go-to solution for mental health and ultimately remove barriers to care for employees across the globe,” said Joel Gujral, founder and CEO of Myndup, who launched the company in 2020 after the counselling offered at a previous job was unsuccessful.
Myndup wants to add artificial intelligence in the future to match employees with practitioners to cater to their specific care needs.
The platform is used by more than 50,000 employees in over 30 countries and already has over 12,000 practitioners, according to Myndup.
Gujral added: “From my own experience, I know how important it is for employees to have access to same-day, live, one-to-one video sessions across the entire mental health spectrum.”
The Series A drew capital from various family offices with support from angels from companies such as LSEG, Deutsche Bank, Adobe, BP and Blackstone.
