The fintech companies looking for UK hires right now

The world of fintech is a very attractive prospect for tech professionals – and with good reason.

The first is investment. According to a recent report from KPMG, UK fintech investment increased from $5.2bn in 2020 to a huge $37.3bn (£27.5bn) last year. Despite Brexit and the pandemic, the UK remains at the centre of European fintech investment. In fact, UK fintechs attract more funding than their counterparts in the rest of EMEA combined.

Next up is innovation. Professionals today want a career that’s varied. Fintech is a field where you can pretty much expect constant change and evolution. You’ll be given the chance to work in emerging sectors such as AI and blockchain.

And finally, we have an abundance of jobs. Because this is a relatively new sector, opportunities regularly emerge. As fintech startups develop and shift into the SME stage, hiring is at an all-time high. Plus, the need for diversity is strong.

So, whether you’re looking to change roles mid-career or you’re a graduate just starting out, there’s a fintech job for you. To help with your search, we’ve rounded up the top fintech companies looking for UK hires on the UKTN Job Board today. Good luck!
