Reports of at least five deaths after French interior minister confirms sinking of vessel in Channel
Several people have died after a migrant boat capsized in the Channel, the French interior minister has said.
The AFP news agency reported five deaths as Gérald Darmanin confirmed on Twitter that a boat had sunk in the Channel with several dead.
