Exciting Fintech roles in the UK you can apply for now

2021 has seen two major trends in the world of working – one far more obvious than the other. Remote working was a pretty major trend this year (no real surprise), with so many more companies making the decision to hire remote-only talent.

The second stand out trend from 2021 has been FinTech, and the growth of the industry. For those of you that don’t know, FinTech (Financial technology) is the technology and innovation that aims to compete with traditional financial methods in the delivery of financial services.

It is an emerging industry that uses technology to improve activities in finance. The functionality of FinTech is supported by the use of technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, biometrics, eCommerce, and many more.

Companies like Monzo and Revolut are two of the biggest FinTechs in the world at the moment.

It’s an industry that’s in NO danger of slowing down; in fact, the global FinTech market is predicted to grow at a rate of almost 25% annually over the next couple of years. Fintech Investments actually hit $91.5 billion in 2021, almost doubling last year’s total. Impressive, right?

We expect this to be a major trend moving into 2022, with an even bigger increase in the number of FinTech jobs posted. So if you’re looking for an exciting role in an even more exciting industry – keep a close eye.
