CUBE celebrates ‘world-class tech hub’ with new London HQ

Automated regulatory intelligence firm CUBE has opened its new global headquarters in the City of London.

The Tower 42 building on Old Broad Street will house the company’s new “AI Centre of Excellence”, an artificial intelligence lab, in which the CUBE team will research the evolving role of the technology in regulation and compliance in finance and other regulated industries.

“We chose an iconic City of London location for our new global headquarters as we believe it’s the perfect place to continue CUBE’s growth. London is unquestionably a world-class tech hub and a global leader for AI and innovation,” said chief executive Ben Richmond.

“We are proud to further build out our global operations and investment from the UK and aim to be a benchmark for building successful global tech businesses here. Our performance in the last year highlights the progress we have made so far.”

CUBE’s new location positions it near many of the banking and financial institutions it serves. The company will offer partners open access to its AI lab facility.

Paul Compton, chairman of investment banking at Barclays commented: “We have seen first-hand how Ben and his team have impressively grown CUBE to become a leader in setting the global regulatory agenda for financial institutions with its best-in-class AI-based platform and how transformative CUBE’s solutions can be for customers such as Barclays.”

Alongside the new HQ, the company has committed to creating 200 new jobs over the next 12 months, around half of which are expected to be based in the UK.
