Business management platform Fluid.work gets £2m from Praetura Ventures

Business management platform Fluid.work has secured £2m in funding from Praetura Ventures.

Fluid.work will use the funding to expand its headcount, increase marketing and for global expansion.

London-headquartered Fluid.work offers cloud-based business management tools and collaboration software.

Businesses can use the software for automated workflows, presentation creation, interactive dashboards, work hubs, resource management, integrations reporting and tracking systems.

Founded in 2014, the software as a service (SaaS) company is used by more than 20,000 users. It counts the likes of Herbalife, Investec, Santander and Walmart among its customers.

“Fluid.work is set to scale and grow massively, and we are so excited to share our solution with more clients globally. We know that our platform makes a difference for every single user, allowing them to work a better day, save time, increase productivity, and focus on what matters most,” said Jared Whitaker, CEO, Fluid.work.

Manchester-based Praetura Ventures invests in early-stage startups. Recent investments include White label software Cyclr and AI startup Sparkbox.

“Whilst there are other tools in the market, clearly the innovation and service Fluid.work brings to the sector has helped them attract and retain a wide variety of clients, from SMEs to household names,” added David Foreman, managing director, Praetura Ventures.

SaaS company M3ter recently raised £13m to bring its usage-based SaaS pricing out of stealth mode.
