The Trump Organization’s chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, has surrendered to the Manhattan district attorney’s office to face charges in a tax-related investigation, it was reported on Thursday. The exact charges against Weisselberg and the Trump Organization as an entity are not yet known, the New York Times reported on Thursday.
The moves mark the first criminal charges against the former president’s company since prosecutors began investigating it three years ago, two people familiar with the matter told the Associated Press.
