PebblePad predicts a long-term tech revolution in Higher Education – seeks a Chief Product Officer to fuel growth

It’s no secret that the education sector has been revolutionised by the use of technology during the last twelve months, as schools, universities and colleges have harnessed digital tools to keep young people learning during the Covid pandemic.

Learning platform provider PebblePad is scaling up its operation in the UK to deal with unprecedented demand, as universities commit to hybrid learning for the long term. Unwilling to return to entirely on-campus studies, HE institutions are looking to combine online delivery with in-person lessons – with the view that this approach makes education more accessible to more people, fuels the skills needed for employability

Central to this scale up is the hiring of two key senior executives, Kenny Nicholl and Sam Blyth, moving from ed tech giant Instructure to take up the positions of Chief Growth Director of University partnerships respectively.

PebblePad is also looking for a Chief Product officer, who will work with the CEO will set the direction and strategy for our highly regarded product. This is a landmark position for the industry, and demonstrates the education and technology industries’ rapid convergence.
