State joins Manhattan attorney general in launching ‘active’ investigation into former president’s business
The New York state attorney general’s office has told the Trump Organization that its investigation of the company is now a criminal probe, not purely civil.
Cyrus Vance, Manhattan’s district attorney, has also been investigating the business run by former president Donald Trump for more than two years.
