Pinsent Masons to expand AI-powered legal services

Law firm Pinsent Masons has agreed a strategic partnership with ContractPodAi, a legal AI solutions and contract lifestyle management platform.

At the centre of the collaboration is the adoption of Leah, ContractPodAi’s agent AI platform, as a core technology powering Pinsent Masons’ managed legal services offering.

The partnership will also include joint investments in developing advanced AI-driven solutions for in-house teams, such as rights management and contract performance analytics.

Anurag Malik, president and chief technology officer at ContractPodAi, said that this partnership marks a “significant step forward” for the firm and the “evolution of legal services”.

“Pinsent Masons shares our commitment to practical and scalable innovation,” Malik said.

As part of the partnership, Pinsent Masons Vario, the firm’s professional services division, will use the Leah platform to power both its managed legal services group and its consulting arm.

Mike McGlinchey, head of legal technology consulting at Pinsent Masons Vario, added: “This partnership reinforces our ongoing commitment to enhancing the delivery of legal advice, transactions and dispute resolution.

“We like ContractPodAi as a company, we like their technology, and their ambitions for the future – and we really enjoy working together.”
