Climate tech company 51toCarbonZero has secured £3m in funding to expand and enhance its next-gen platform.
Fuel Ventures led the investment for the sustainability business, with the funding round including contributions from angel investors.
51toCarbonZero specialises in a growing number of sectors including advertising, sports and entertainment, with this additional funding enabling 51toCarbonZero to extend its platform to a greater number of businesses on a more global scale.
The investment will also facilitate the advancement of its platform to better leverage AI and enhance the client experience.
Professor Neil Woodcock, co-founder and executive chairman of 51toCarbonZero, explained how this investment marks a “pivotal moment” for the business. “With Fuel Ventures’ continued support, we are poised to extend our reach and enhance our platform’s capabilities, particularly through AI integration,” he said.
“Our mission is to simplify the path to net-zero for companies worldwide, so we can help reduce global emissions by 500 million tonnes CO2e, and this funding brings us closer to achieving that.”
