One female sustains major injuries and several pupils being treated after collision with car on M53
A children’s hospital has declared a “major incident” after a school bus crash on a motorway left a female with “major trauma-related” injuries and dozens of pupils needing to be assessed by medics.
Alder Hey hospital, in Liverpool, confirmed it was treating “a number” of patients after the collision on the M53 in Chesire, on the border with Merseyside.
