Salesforce specialists: London-based Provar bags £12.5M funding to expand operations

These days, companies are increasingly investing in their approach to customer relationship management globally. Also, they are relying heavily on platforms such as Salesforce to make data-driven decisions, unite distributed teams, implement best practices and forge deeper connections with customers in order to help facilitate growth. This shift has accelerated the necessity for teams to build, test and deploy customised Salesforce enhancements and functionality that are exponentially faster and eliminate risk.

London-based Provar is a company that operates in Salesforce testing. It pairs intuitive testing solutions with best-in-class service, thereby helping companies deliver scalable, robust and repeatable testing to achieve release agility, get maximum return on Salesforce investment and drive down system errors.

£12.5M funding from Kennet Partners

In a recent development, Provar bagged $17M (nearly £12.5M) Series A funding from Kennet Partners, a global growth equity firm that has backed high-growth companies in Europe and North America. Provar will use the investment to support its mission to help teams capitalise on their Salesforce investment.

Besides this, Michael Elias, managing director and founder of Kennet Partners will join the Provar’s. Also, Bob DeSantis, a current board member will serve as the chairman.

Michael Elias, managing director at Kennet Partners said, “In addition to fitting this criteria, Provar has a culture of integrity and customer focus that makes them especially appealing to us. The demand for software-driven automation has increased dramatically as part of the broader digital transformation that is being accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic and our funding will allow Provar to continue to scale and innovate.”

Geraint Waters, co-founder and chief executive officer at Provar said, “Given the accelerated demand for Salesforce release deployments and the tools connected to them, traditional methods that require an excruciating amount of test maintenance just aren’t feasible anymore. That’s why Provar is designed to fill that gap using an intelligent metadata-driven model.”

Global presence

Founded in 2011 by Flavia Waters and Geraint Waters, Provar has grown its customer base worldwide and has offices in the U.K., North America and India. With the new funding, the company intends to invest in its test automation platform, expand operations, scale the team globally and broaden the virtually limitless possibilities of Salesforce test automation.
