Activity in south-west London parkland is part of hunt for ex-soldier Daniel Abed Khalife, officers confirm

Police have been searching for the escaped terror suspect Daniel Abed Khalife in parkland in south-west London, not far from the prison from which he absconded, officers have said.

Scotland Yard confirmed that “police activity” in Richmond Park on Friday was part of the hunt for the former British soldier, whose escape from nearby HMP Wandsworth has prompted an inquiry and political fallout.
