Uber business rival alert: Gett raises £84M for its on-demand ride-hailing platform for corporate users

Gett, a London and Israel headquartered is an innovative global travel SaaS platform that is transforming corporate ground travel. Initially, it started as a more direct rival to the likes of Uber and Lyft but it focuses on ground transportation services for business clients in major global cities. In London, Gett only works with licensed black cabs and Hackney Carriages that are fully regulated by Transport for London and the local councils in all other UK cities.

Global rollout of travel software platform

Now, Gett announced that it raised $115M (nearly £84M) funding round as it continues to rollout its ground travel software platform for businesses worldwide. Basically, the $15M (nearly £11M) is an extension of the $100M (nearly £73M) funding it raised in June 2020 from new investor Pelham Capital Investments Ltd. along with existing investors. This investment will be used to further accelerate the development of the SaaS platform and its global expansion.

Dave Waiser, Chief Executive Officer at Gett, said: “We are on a journey to transform corporate ground travel and I’m delighted that investors find our model attractive. This investment will allow us to further develop our SaaS technology and deepen our proposition within the corporate ground travel market.

Amos Genish, Gett Chairman, added: “This funding round was oversubscribed, which shows the market’s interest in our platform and long term vision. Gett is disrupting and transforming a fragmented market delivering ever-critical cost optimisation and client satisfaction.

Transforms corporate travel with mobility software

Gett brings the fragmented world of ride-hailing companies and corporate fleets together on one platform, optimising its clients’ corporate ground travel needs ranging from booking and riding to invoicing and analytics.

Founded by Dave Waiser and Roi More, Gett is a leading ground travel software platform for businesses. It transforms corporate travel with its mobility software that puts clients’ preferred ride-hailing apps and car services onto one SaaS platform. Gett claims to let clients to save 25-40% on their global ground travel costs.

Back in 2010, the company launched its first-ever on-demand B2B mobility services. Its advanced technology makes business ground travel simpler, safer, and more efficient. The software platform of Gett powers one third of the Fortune 500 companies among others clients.
