By my maths, England’s tiers will now be split…

Tier 1 – 906,374 people (1.6%)
Tier 2 – 17,275,030 people (30.7%)
Tier 3 – 38,105,557 people (67.7%)

That means a total of 38 million people in England will be in Tier 3, or 68 per cent of the population.
