Dust off those CVs folks…

Full-stack developer, Tendable

To support Tendable’s plans for growth in the UK and internationally, it is looking for a full-stack developer to join Tendable’s engineering tribe. The candidate should not only be passionate about web development, but also about the impact on product and end-users.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You’ll play a pivotal role in the continued development and growth of the company’s product and business.

As a full-stack developer, you should be comfortable around both back-end and front-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Tenable is moving to a microservices architecture and everything is hosted in AWS. Tendable uses a combination of both containers as well as serverless, and many managed AWS services including ECS, Fargate, RDS and much more.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. You face coding challenges head-on and you’re not afraid to leave your comfort zone when you have your mindset on defeating a challenge. You can work with development teams and product owners to ideate software solutions and deliver a compelling user experience. You’re someone who is keen to share knowledge and collaborate with other developers across the business.

Collections & recoveries advisor, iwoca

iwoca started in 2012 when it noticed a problem: on average, it was taking eight weeks (and a lot of paperwork) for small businesses to apply for a loan. Worse still, that process was often ending in a ‘no’. iwoca knew that bakeries, building firms, salons, and solicitors deserved better. They deserve to be able to grow – hire more hands, invest in stock, market themselves – without all the hold music and absurdly rigid criteria.

The company works hard to make iwoca a place where everyone feels welcome, where you can confidently be yourself. iwoca understand that diversity isn’t an optional add-on, it’s the core ingredient of what makes the company great.

The ideal candidate for the collections and recoveries advisor role will be responsible for having purposeful conversations with customers in early arrears to recover payment or ascertain the reason for missed payment and scheduling the next steps accordingly. They will build relationships with customers through regular contact to validate, understand and resolve breaches of their loan agreements with customers while handling high levels of inbound and outbound calls in a diligent, professional and efficient manner.

What does success look like? iwoca is looking for someone with proven experience in debt recovery, ideally in the commercial/business sector in a call based environment. You will need empathy, forbearance and professionalism, along with strong communication skills on both phone and email.
