Teenager was found carrying a crossbow within castle grounds on Christmas Day, police say
Police say the man who broke into the grounds of Windsor Castle on Christmas Day has been detained under the Mental Health Act and had a crossbow when challenged by police.
The 19-year-old was detained moments after entering the grounds, with the Queen and other senior royals in residence preparing to celebrate Christmas.
