Australian B2B music supplier Audalize expands to UK market

Australia-based B2B background music supplier Audalize has announced plans to expand into the UK market in 2022.

Founded in 2019, the Perth-headquartered company provides a platform used by businesses that includes music, video, and action sports in its library.

The company claims to be a Spotify or YouTube for businesses and believes there is an untapped market in the UK.

Audalize also intends to launch in New Zealand in the first quarter of 2022.

UK expansion plans

With the expansion set for the end of Q1 in 2022, the delivery of the existing hardware into the new markets will coincide with the arrival of mobile technology. It will provide access to over 100 million songs in the new markets.

Founder of Audalize Ross Woodhams said: “We’ve already established our distribution arm in the UK and are working on engaging the AV Integrator market there. We’re really encouraged by some of the discussions with partners there and expect the uptake across retail, fitness and hospitality to drive our growth right through 2022.”

Audalize claims it grew by 300 per cent in 2021 in its home Australia market. Besides the expansion, Audalize will welcome a suite of new technology to the platform including an enterprise device and content management system, an app-less jukebox and a programme that lets developers build applications that integrate with Audalize services.

“We truly believe that through music, great moments of shared experiences are the best in life, and we believe that through those moments, we build true human connections. We know who our customer is and what they need,” said Woodhams.
