Intoware Signs-Up Connect Source To Help Australian Enterprises Going Digital

Intoware, a UK leader in digital workflow automation, has today announced that it has partnered with manufacturer and technology reseller, Connect Source to enable the company to successfully fulfil the requirements of Australia’s industrial enterprises for digital transformation.

This partnership covers the supply of Intoware’s digital work instruction platform, WorkfloPlus developed for industrial frontline workers including, field engineers and oil and gas technicians that often work in remote and hazardous locations by connecting them to the wider business via smart phones, tablets or wearables, such as RealWear’s head-mounted tablets (HMT-1’s).

Concerns over frontline worker safety, integration with the Internet of Things, AI and increased network connectivity have all accelerated the adoption of digital tools and wearables in the industrial workplace to help improve productivity, efficiency, compliance and safety.

Intoware’s platform, WorkfloPlus has been designed to automatically generate digital work instructions, schedules and reports for frontline workers, eliminating the traditional and time-consuming paper-based preparations required out in the field. It empowers teams to work faster and more efficiently as inspection reports are shared instantly, saving time and cost.

When combined with RealWear’s HMT-1s, WorkfloPlus connects frontline workers to experts around the globe, allowing real-time collaboration to address challenges in the field without the need to be on-site. This is particularly important where complex industrial assets require specialist knowledge, with only limited staff available to get the job done due to safety concerns.

Richard Rowe, sales & channel manager, Connect Source, “WorkfloPlus is a great addition to our services, when combined with RealWear HMT-1’s this solution represents the future of connected industrial working. Following an initial trial, this partnership attracted interest from Synergy who are one of our clients and Western Australia’s largest energy retailer and generator.”

“Connect Source have a long-standing history in manufacturing excellence.” Vince Galvin, channel sales director, Intoware said. “Having been at the very forefront of product design, engineering and innovation. The introduction of digital workflow software vastly improves the performance of RealWear devices to deliver smarter, connected working as part of a digital transformation strategy.

This is the first partnership agreement of its type for Intoware in Australia with more international deals to be announced as part of its channel growth strategy in the coming months.

WorkfloPlus from Intoware is the only SaaS mobile first workflow automation platform that benefits both the connected worker and business. Its solution converts existing paper-based and human processes into easy to follow, step-by- step digital work instructions accessible via desktop, mobile and wearable computer devices (such as RealWear’s HMT-1) to deliver productivity, simplicity, connectivity and accountability to enterprises.
