ramsac appoints Charlie Thompson as new Head of IT Operations
IT security experts, ramsac, are delighted to announce the appointment of Charlie Thompson to ramsac’s leadership team. Charlie joins ramsac in the newly created position of Head of IT Operations and will be developing the IT Operations team in the delivery of IT management, monitoring and cybersecurity services.
This newly created team brings together a number of the services that are already providing to ramsac’s ‘totalIT’ managed IT clients, such as 24/7 system monitoring, remote IT admin, management and reporting services and cyber incident response, whilst also bringing on board new roles to support the growth of proactive cyber services, enhanced cyber monitoring, cyber essentials and enhanced cyber response and consultancy services.
Speaking of Charlie’s appointment, ramsac’s managing director Rob May said: “Charlie has joined our leadership team at a really exciting time and during an important phase of our strategic growth. He has strong leadership experience in technology service delivery, largely gained over a number of years in senior positions at Zurich Insurance. He will be instrumental in growing and supporting our IT Operations Team and supporting the development of several new cybersecurity services which we have planned as part of our longer-term ramsac vision. This expansion to our senior team is a key part in our current business plan and I’m delighted that Charlie has already hit the ground running.”
