Are you looking for a new job at the moment? How exciting! However, we know it can be stressful and somewhat scary at the best of times, particularly now, as we come out of a pandemic. 

 So, we wanted to help. We have a job board bursting with really great opportunities all over the UK – and here’s a taster of what you can expect, with five jobs that are actively hiring right now in the London area… 

Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response, Airbnb 

The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) at Airbnb is focused on automating security detection, responding to security incidents, and working with partner teams to build capabilities that support the incident lifecycle. This is the front-line team that detects, investigates, and responds to security threats and malicious activity. 

While the team is not new, they are now at a point of increasing scope. This is a key senior role to define and execute the vision for threat detection and incident response capabilities and process while mentoring other team members. As a senior engineer on the team, you will have direct impact building, optimising, and growing securing capabilities as you help deliver world-class threat detection and incident response. 

The successful candidate will perform investigations of security incidents using knowledge and understanding of digital forensic artifacts, log data analysis and/or developing automation for investigation and response capabilities that scale. They will also coordinate and drive resolution on a diverse range of incidents as part of an on-call team.  

IT Support Engineer, Weezy 

Weezy is the UK’s leading on-demand supermarket. Their mission is to deliver life-essentials, creating ever more happy and spontaneous moments at home. They’re doing this by delivering groceries, including fresh fruit and veg, cupboard staples, pharmacy, alcohol, personal care and cleaning products in under 15 minutes. Behind the scenes, they’re building a network of fulfilment centres across London, the UK and beyond, each staffed with Weezy customer delivery reps who pick, pack and deliver customers’ orders. 

Weezy is a fast growing team executing at lightning speed, and all this is possible thanks to amazing people and technology. They’re looking for an extremely motivated and hard working individual, who is not afraid of challenges. You will play a critical role in supporting the Weezy team. You will help discover issues with existing configurations within a variety of applications. 

Initially this role will require to re-evaluate existing tech configuration and reimplementing them using best practice in a scalable way. You will ensure people are following the policies and procedures for Weezy’s IT organization and amend them when and where needed.  

The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with internal stakeholders across multiple sites and being customer centric and focused at all times. They will have experience in Okta Configuration, experience with Windows and/or Mac and experience using MDM solutions to manage a variety of devices and OS. 

Client Engagement Manager, eClerx 

eClerx is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and relational Client Engagement Manager with a heavy focus on business intelligence/business insights and decision sciences. The Client Engagement Manager will manage the key relationship for primary UK and EMEA clients in the Travel or Retail vertical. This involves leading client engagements and strategy primarily in the areas of Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Experience, Content, CRM campaigns, and Product Data management.  

The successful candidate will lead client engagement accounts in the Travel or Retail vertical.  Typical engagements include digital marketing, campaigns management, competitive intelligence, customer and campaign analytics, content operations, pricing analysis, demand forecasting, personalisation, and products data management. They will support the eClerx business development, execution, and senior management globally to anticipate and identify new opportunities and service areas.  

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Travel, Retail, eCommerce or MRO, along with substantial experience in client management and engagements, account management, consulting services delivery, business intelligence, data warehousing, or similar business areas. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills are crucial to success in this role. 

 Digital Marketing Manager B2B Media, Media Ventures

You should have creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. You must be comfortable working across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.
