London fintech company Revolut launches new Points feature in the UK; allows customers to win cash prizes

Revolut, a London-based fintech company, has announced the launch of Points, a new feature that allows Revolut customers to earn points when they use their Revolut app or card.

According to the company, customers will earn points for completing various challenges — making transactions, sending money to another Revolut customer, referring friends, setting up Vaults, and more.

Win cash prize

The points will be used to enter prize draws taking place in the Revolut app every Thursday. Through the prize draw, users can win cash prizes from £1 to £10,000. Revolut will give away a total amount of £250,000 over four weeks.

Revolut Points are available to all Standard, Plus, Premium, and Metal customers in the UK. Notably, Premium and Metal customers will get 1.5x and 2x points respectively compared to Standard and Plus customers.

Vishaal Vadher, Senior Product Owner at Revolut says: “We want to dedicate this big initiative to our customers for their support over the past year. Since the very beginning of our journey, Revolut’s goal has been to allow people to get more from their money. Points are another step in that direction. We want our customers to be rewarded for choosing Revolut as their everyday financial partner and to have the chance to win great prizes while they already benefit from many other innovative features.”

Added Dogecoin

Launched in 2015 by Nikolay Storonsky, and Vlad Yatsenko, Revolut has 15M customers globally and experience more than 100 million transactions a month.

Last month, the UK fintech company added the popular crypto token Dogecoin following requests from crypto enthusiasts. With DOGE added to the app, Revolut now supports 30 coins.
