Matt Hancock should be sacked for lying to the public and fellow ministers up to 20 times, Dominic Cummings has claimed as he exposed a litany of government “failures” to tackle coronavirus.
Boris Johnson’s former top aide made incendiary allegations about how the pandemic was handled by politicians, officials and advisers in the first four months of 2020, and said it was like “lions led by donkeys” when he was quizzed by two parliamentary committees on Wednesday.
