Cinos launches Mobile Virtual Network Operator service

As part of its growing managed service offering, Cinos, a specialist provider of integrated audio-visual and communication solutions, today announces the launch of Cinos Mobile – its own Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) service.

The new offering is underpinned by the reliability of the EE network and offers a range of tailored subscription services for any device requiring a mobile connection. The Cinos SIM cards can be used in mobile, PC, tablet and IoT devices and users can select from calling and data packages as well as pay per use, bundled or all-inclusive voice minutes.

A fully managed and supported service, Cinos Mobile delivers both public and private sector organisations with a rich mobile experience.

True extension of the office

Cinos Mobile offers native Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) of unified communications and mobile services. FMC provides users with a truly flexible solution that allows them to use a single phone when moving between home, work or any other location. As incoming and outgoing mobile calls pass through the Cinos core network, additional services such as call recording can be applied, enriching the service for organisations looking to keep an accurate call record or those in regulated industries.

This fully interoperable service from Cinos integrates directly with IP phones, mobiles and UC solutions including Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Webex. This provides true on-net calling, extension dialling, centralised directory and enterprise PBX features, without the need for additional software to be installed onto the mobile device.

Empowering frontline workforces

For emergency services and frontline workers who are required to communicate and respond at speed, Cinos Mobile guarantees a consistent and secure connection.

FMC enabled users have the ability to make internal extension calls from their mobile handset, including to critical services such as 2222 – an emergency response number frequently used by the NHS. Cinos Mobile also gives them the ability to answer their own mobile and extension calls from any device whether it be IP Phone or soft client.

Dan Worman, Executive Director at Cinos, says: “Connectivity and collaboration sits at the heart of our managed services portfolio and enables organisations to achieve secure and reliable remote working. I’m therefore really pleased to welcome the arrival of Cinos Mobile, another service within our growing managed services offering. Being able to offer mobile capabilities is allowing our customers across both the public and private sectors, to carry out communications more effectively. In a time where more organisations are working remotely than ever before, the need for a secure and consistent service will become vital in the coming months.”

FMC Bundles start from £22 per month for unlimited UK/EU calls and 10GB data and go up to 100GB of data per month with full details will be available at Cinos.net. Pricing based on a five-year contract.
