Trustpilot appoints two executives from Adobe and Prosus Group

Review platform Trustpilot has appointed a new chief revenue officer and chief strategy officer in its latest executive hires.

Brian Green joins Trustpilot from Adobe to lead Trustpilot’s commercial teams as chief revenue officer. Green has previously worked for Oracle, Magento and SUSE.

Carolyn Ryan, who takes the role of chief strategy officer, has a background in private equity and consulting firm McKinsey, along with Nike, eBay and P&G. Ryan joins Trustpilot from consumer internet company Prosus Group.

“In an age where artificial intelligence is reshaping the digital landscape, trust has never been more important,” said Ryan.

“As the company continues to explore new and exciting ways of improving how consumers use the platform and how businesses can benefit from the insight it provides, I am eager to leverage my experience to help shape the business strategy and drive future growth.”

It’s the latest C-suite appointments for Trustpilot since Adrian Blair replaced long-serving CEO and founder, Peter Holten Mühlmann, in September last year.

“I am confident that we will benefit from their wealth of experience as we take the business into the next phase of growth,” said Blair.

The Denmark-headquartered company, which hosts reviews of businesses and charges firms for user analytics and review request tools, listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021.

In March, Trustpilot posted a profit of $7.1m (£5.6m) for 2023 is a rise in monthly users helped lift revenues by 18%.

The London-listed firm has more than 900 employees spread across operations in Copenhagen, London, Edinburgh, New York, Denver, Melbourne, Berlin, Milan and Amsterdam.
